BRIAN MCLAUGHLIN
limped off against Falkirk on Saturday afternoon with a recurrence of his groin injury. The ex-Ayr United player, is now set to miss the first of the meetings against his previous club Ayr. Already this season he has been unlucky with injury after sustaining the first injury in the opening game of the season against Hamilton.

Billy Stark
said;

"Brian’s groin is not as bad as it was. He is almost certainly out for Saturday but with a two-week break to follow hopefully that’ll be the only match he misses."

Craig Nelson, also looks set to miss the visit of his previous employers due to an injured ankle.

"Craig twisted an ankle when blocking a shot in training on Friday and is causing us a bit of concern,"

Paul Bernard and Ian Maxwell picked up knocks on Saturday, but both returned to training yesterday.

The reserves won 2-0 against Montrose last night. Chris Hay scored both the goals.

Stuart McLuskey
is now on trial at Falkirk. The ex-Saint played in their 2-1 reserve victory over Gretna. He could be set to join up with a handful of ex-St.Johnstone players O’Neil, McAnespie, Xausa and Ferguson.
